What we do at MEA's
Recording Studio 9!! Remote Recording: For live music recording of musical groups, we offer our Korg D16, 16 Track Digital Remote Recording at your choice of location. Karaoke Voice-Over Production:For singers who want to perform to pre-recorded music, such as karaoke cd's, or previously recorded studio tracks, or one of our "digital bands", we can provide the equipment necessary to create the best audio image possible. The use of our JVC professional Karaoke machine, is included in our hourly rate. In many instances, you must provide the Karaoke cd's. We can create karaoke custom disks for songs that are currently unavailable. Cassette and CD short run production: Cassette production or cd production, may be released on our MEA Record label, using our BMI registered music publisher Draw Music Publishing. This service is available at our discretion only. Existing Tape Conversions: Remixing ,or modifying, existing studio media is available. We specialize in analog, and digital, mastering. We can remix 8 track and 4 track studio tape and transfer them to cd. Equipment:Our main recording is done on our Korg D16 (16 track Digital) or on our Teac 80-8 8 track analog recorder. Two track recording is recorded to cassette or to digital disk. Our secondary board is 16 in 8 out, based on a Carvin subsystem. Our main vocal mike is a Carvin cm-87 professional large diaphragm condenser. Available musical instruments include Midi Keyboard, Fender Strat, Acoustic Guitar, Fender Squire P-Bass and thingy's that make noise. A Dod fx-7 guitar processor is also available. Our Engineer:Danny is a computer systems design engineer, with degrees in electronics and associated fields. As a studio guitarist/bassist/vocalist/keyboardist and session producer, he was formerly under contract to Olympic Records and Buck Ram (producer of the Platters vocal group). As MEA chief engineer, he produced several records at the studios in Irvine and El Cajon, Ca. He created the wireless guitar for Edcor Electronics. Custom Backgrounds: We can create custom backgrounds for original songs and those songs that are not available in the Karaoke marketplace. Danny's services, as guitarist,bassist or arranger, are included at no additional charge. Hourly Rate: Please call for our current hourly rate, and special project rates. Additional Media fees may apply. Use of outside media is normally not allowed. We also build specialty Studio Equipment. |
